How do I get started on the detoxification program? Schedule a medical office visit with Wellspring's Certified Nurse Practitioner. A history, toxicity questionaire and other important factors will be evaluated to see if you are a good candidate for the detoxification program. The medical office visit is covered by most health plans. Our patient advocate will review any additional fees, prior to starting the detox program.

of the first things I noticed after the 3rd or 4th day was that my
cravings disappeared. I felt satisfied with the shakes and what I was
eating. And I would guess the supplements really helped too. I was
surprised by how easy it was to not cheat. When I felt hungry I had one
of the accepted foods or some of the shake. I was amazed how quickly
the shake had me feeling satisfied.
I do not weigh myself
so I do not know the weight loss. But my clothes feel better and it is
easier to just move about during the day. Plus I feel better, more
alert, sleeping better, and more energy.
What was hard was
figuring out when to eat, take the pills, the shake etc. because I have 3
part time jobs and cannot always stop at home. Even if I forgot to
bring something with me, the program was flexible enough that it still
worked, only a different routine. I was very thirsty (surprisingly
so...due to the fiber pills?) and so it was easy to consume the amount
of water required. The thirst was the only thing that I noticed being a
bi hard to tolerate...after I kicked my coffee habit.
thrilled to no longer drink coffee or have Diet Coke. My sugar cravings
are gone, what a relief! What I still miss is the Diet Coke, but that
is getting less and less each week.
Overall I just feel better. It is nice to not have the coffee or sugar crashes...it was the motivation I needed to kick
the caffeine and sugar habit and to actually eat healthy. -Lenore R.
